Diwali Parties in Delhi NCR with item girls
Early last week we were invited to a Diwali party and there were several hired foreign girls to entertain guests, dance, show off etc.
It just seemed odd as some guests and some girls were flirting. See attached from the website of a Delhi based company that provides them.
My question is what happens in case there is an untoward incident. Are such services legal or illegal.
Perhaps localcircles should get Govt to define rules for public or personal entertainment services.
The girls are available to hire as companions or escorts of you or your guests.

Part of the debate around legalising prostitution and sex workers in india is the treatment of these workers. Due to the stigma and legality, sex workers are given no rights and can't complain of mistreatment/abuse. This infact is a barrier in slavery and sex trafficking. We all know it happens by making it illegal and turning a blind eye to pretend it doesn't exist doesn't change that fact. more

Concubines and tawaifs, have been a part of so called Indian culture since ages hasn't it. Hence I am not sure you which India you refer to. Yes we are certainly not in Victorian India! Moreover, If we are not provided with sex education in school, we will go on pulling wool over our own eyes about sex and sexuality!! more

I dont understand the issue why is sex between consenting unmarried adults such a taboo in India. Whats the issue if they provide such services for wiling takers as long as they are engaging in private spaces? more

I have not been fortunate enough to attend any such Diwali parties but as they are foreigners these girls were pointed out whereas if one gets a opportunity to attend parties of page 3 celebrities you will find many college going girls doing this for money either to fulfill their dreams or due to certain family issue, Whatever it may be it leads to disrupting our "value sytems" where we do expect ourselves to be a part and parcel of the modern world but when it comes to such issues we turn a back and say we are not involved. Well if we are not involved do we have the courage to point it out it is wrong be it be due to values or any other reason OR ARE WE JUST BACKBITING and calling them names.
