Diyas - where to find
I sent my boy to gejha market today to buy diyas but he could not find them. Where are all places that sell diya. We support the idea of District Magistrate to put diyas. All must do. more

Agree with Sh. Brijesh that it is just a meaningless action. Let the authorities advise what action they are taking about the sanitation, encroachment, etc. once they will take care of these problems, we shall light many diyas to acknowledge their effort. more

I, for one, am dead against the suggestion of the DM to light diyas-it is another of those symbolic things that the bureaucrats and politicians have become adept at. These serve to deflect attention from pressing issues at hand and keeps the person in public eye. Further, we have a massive environmental pollution problem. Lighting of diyas is certainly not going to help in any which way to help combat that. Conlusion-all sensible persons shoutl give a thumbs down to this silly suggestion.
