Do not buy shoes on line from Bata, they fheat you.

I place order and made àdvance payment for two pair of shoes on -line from Bata. After two days , I was informed that the order was cancelled due to products not in stock. They promised to refund the payments in a week's time . They refunded only the amount for the lower value and the major portion of the amount was not refunded. On follow up with customer services of Bata , they assured to look into it but no action. Finally they stopped responding to my emails.
Very unfortunate , organisation like Bata, is into such method of cheating their customer. more

Cheating customer is a common thing by the one time monarch "Bata". The end of era is very nearby. more
Yes, such occurrences are in the attention of Bata India ltd. I spoke to an executive of bata store on such issue and he confessed it. It is reported that some exectives of bata are involved in such scam and Bata India is serious to address it. Of course; it's an undesirable incidence in Bata, so far I experienced. I advise you to get in touch with any divisional store in your area along with all relevant documents. If it's not a fraud, you can get other product for that value. The concerned will check the record. more
It is very surprising that a company of such a repute is indulging I such malpractices one finds no way to go. As suggested above please lodge a complaint with the consumer grievance cell. This is a case of clear cut cheating. There should be a provision for a heavy penalty of double the amount involved apart from refund of full amount. The complaints about poorest services by ecommerce, one should avoid to make purchases from them as far as possible. more
Please write to consumer grievance cell. more
