Do our Covid experts really know their stuff

Well first some good news. AIIMS has released a study which indicates that sero prevalence was high amongst children too in last wave and half of them had covid per sero survey samples and hence the 3rd wave will impact children only as much as adults.

The same aiims, their director one month ago was the one saying that there will be big 3rd wave and children will be impacted and media has been harping on it since then and today this finding.

This begs the question “do our so called experts really know what they are talking about”??

While we can be both suspicious and point fingers at anyone and everyone, the facts are that: 1. Its too new for anyone to have any definitive findings or explanations - everything you see and/or read is only speculative, with varying degrees of post facto validation. 2. The fact is that it is infectious, with extremely limited mortality if treated right and early enough ... 3. The treatment (paracetamol in high dosage), has no ill effects so there is no reason to defer treatment till a positive test. 4. Vaccination is not preventive of infection, only of severity of infection. 5. Put that all together, we are personally responsible for the precautions, behaviour, health and treatment of our near and dear by: 5.1 Vaccination 5.2 Social Distancing 5.3 Personal hygiene 5.4 Treatment by paracetamol at first symptom 5.5 Monitoring Oxygen Saturation 5.6 Hospitalisation on threshold. Any expectation of an external agency to put our minds at rest shall be belied ... more
I'm very much doubtful as contradictory statements besides ambiguous flexible decisions taken. eg. Gap between two doses, third wave uncertainties. more
Today's newspaper states that UK is in a bad way with the Delta variant. I have said previously that it is fishy that 3 populous and poor countries have been infected with variants of the corona virus and one country with another. This should definitely make it man-made because viruses not differentiate between colour. Secondly, if this is a cleansing of people then China has triumphed! more
No one has complete understanding of this virus yet and so called experts are also learning by the day as more data is emerging more
virus seems to be self made by someone more
