Do we achieve anything through these groups?

I have regularly been giving opinions and suggestions on various matters in this forum. But I feel that I can deploy my time more usefully by simply deleting the mails that land on my inbox.

Not being a die-hard BJP aficionado, my main objective is to see some improvement in the way our people live and conduct themselves within my life time; but that seems very unlikely. Having visited and stayed in many first world countries, I wonder whether with our officials and administration are so inept and the politicians so corrupt, anything good can ever happen to the citizens.

These forums are there only to give an impression to the common citizens that they are participating in governance. Nothing of that sort is going to happen.

My hopes of Mr Modi or BJP bringing about any real change are dimming day-by-day. What happened to applying the much-touted Gujarat model to the entire country? Why are no radical steps being taken to eliminate corruption and administrative high-handedness? Why are we not taking measures to allow merit to flourish and hide behind caste tags to get undeserved benefits? more

Give some time to the Govt. it is in right direction. muche waited bills are not being passed as the Government not in majority in upper house. Coming budget will direct the goals for growth. more
Laying of Optical Fibre throughout rural India through NOFA is great great move. If successfully completed by March, 2015 as expected, it will be great move. It will remove middlemen dealing in food grains and farmers can market their products online direct to wholesalers. This will reduce cost of food grains. Along with this if entire India can go online, then all Government transactions and payments will be online and this will reduce corruption to a great extent. Similarly starting of Jan Dhan Yojna when completed will help us to achieve cashless transactions which will reduce black money. What remains to be done is abolishing of big denomination notes of Rs.1000, 500 and 100. This will go a long way to control inflation, corruption and black money. Hope this will be done in the immediate future. more
I feel we should give some time for the Govt to implement on the promises they have made and feedback for our suggestions. There are many things happening for the good of our citizens but they are not highlighted in the media because they do not bring up their TRPs.Let us have some more patience as we have waited for more than 60 years for the turn around in our life and 1-2 years do not matter. more
I would suggest a feedback to our inputs from the owner of the post...If they are at all being considered for building our nation..OF course its something which is going to benefit us some way or the other but your question is valid and after some time people would not provide the feedback thinking that every point they are raising is not at all being considered at all more
IF WE THINK PEACEFULLY AND QUIET, CERTAINLY THE CLEAR SAFE PICTURE CAN BE SEEN / OBSERVED WHEN COMPARED TO THAT BEFORE MARCH, 2014. WE CANNOT EXPECT THIS IN ALL ISSUES.. OUR COLLECTIVE AND UN-DISGUSTED ATTENTIVE ATTEMPTS WILL DEFINITELY BRING-IN GOOD GOVERNANCE WITHIN A MAXIMUM OF ONE AND A HALF OR TWO YEARS OUT OF WHICH NINE MONTHS ALREADY WENT AWAY BUT WITH A GOOD OR REASONABLE GOVERNING if compared to that of Un-ruly Rule. more
