DO WE HAVE TO BUY JUSTICE IN OUR COUNTRY
One week ago, my younger brother, a poort man aged 53 years, was assaulted by a young man of about 20 years. He was hit on his head by a pointed hammer and was then taken to the hospital in critical condition. A complaint was lodged.
In view of the gravity of the assult and the injury, it was clearly a case of 326 and 307. The police also assured us of the same.
However, later the PSI was managed, paid for to make the case weaker and this is how finally the assaulter was booked under 324 and immediately released on bail.
Even this date my brother is at home, not working but on the other hand the person who was legally booked is out and roaming around freely, teasing us for our inability to manage the police.
Thus my question - do we have to buy justice. more

I would look at it as a Business Opportunity they feed on. These professions look forward to you being screwed only then can they thrive on your situation. Doctors and Lawyers. They can give you all the assurances but in their mind, they are thinking of ways to present the bill! more

all are in same wine in different bottles they are only interested in kangaroo court and they earn money that is reason why person like who is qualified for law never opted for practice even if we do honest profession we have been threatened now days the law profession had become as underworld dons because this is only profession for entering into politics so the noble profession turned out to be anti social profession sorry to state no judges and advocates are above corruption they never do there profession a country without any law is sorry state of affairs more

It's not on sale but we sold to unscrupulous judges and advocate who are considered to law makers but they are law brakers in India more

Welcome to the reality that is India. We realise the utter 'beauty' of India when we we god forbid need to work through our Police, our Judiciary, our Hospitals, our Public Service authorities. Till then we enjoy prescribing, pontificating and offering suggestions/ solutions. Like Churchill always maintained Indians are an ungovernable lot- petty minded and self seeking. more

I can understand your situation, the angst and your helplessness due to corrupt practices of Police inaction or intentional dilution of Criminal act committed by the attacker of your brother. You have one way out to nail the culprit attacker and the police. First you must get a Government MD doctor's certificate mentioning the gravity and seriousness of the injury sustained by your brother. Based on certificate you can file a private complaint with the nearest Magistrate court having jurisdiction to deal with the criminal complaint. Narrating the complete incident with even with the minutest details apprising the court about the intentional act of the police department to charge the attacker with mild IPC section 324 instead of 326 and 307 of IPC. Please do make sure that the weapon of attack is not destroyed by the police and the Police have mentioned it in the FIR.

blame it on the judiciary arm of the 'Constitution' itself.....am sure so many HC judges and SC justices and popular lawyers of the country will admit silently to themselves what their profession has morphed to become of!! yes like everyone else they need to earn a living as well but like in every other profession there is a distinct line between moral and ethical values that one would like to upkeep in their professional careers as opposed to just becoming victims of the faltering system and in the process......not only plundering it further but losing the personal value-system that must govern an individual!!!!!!!! can all this ever be corrected? not until the factor of CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION HAS BEEN SET TO HAPPEN FROM WITHIN THE INDIVIDUAL HIMSELF FOR HE ALONE IS THE SOLE DECISION MAKER AS TO WHERE THAT LINE OF DIVIDE AND DEMARCATION SHOULD LIE. A SOCIO-ETHICAL REFORMATION NEEDS TO SET IN - AND ITS BEEN SEVERAL DECADES THAT MEN HAVE LET THE SYSTEM TO BREAK, AND ROT TO WHAT IT HAS BECOME, BEYOND ANY AND ALL RECOVERY ALMOST AS ONE WOULD NATURALLY THINK UNLESS A MIRACLE WERE TO HAPPEN!! Agree with you that we are victim of Police department excess on poor people.Judges are also part of this corrupt society.So how one can get Justice.only have to buy Justice in country. My writ petition 7041 civil of 2012 is still pending reason is my case against Tata motors Pune .Ratan tata is managing in Mumbai .in Bombay High Court more
