DOES %- AGE OF PATIENTS CURED OF COVID – 19 PLAY A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN PREVENTION AND TREATMENT ?
The state wise Data prepared on COVID19 consists of total number of cases , Active cases , Number of cases cured and Deaths .
ALL ARE OBVIOUSLY INTERESTED IN THE COLUMN THAT REPORTS CASES CURED . The %- age of cases cured varies from state to state depending on various factors . For example in the table attached shows the 5 southern states .
It is a known fact that Kerala reported the first case on 30th January . The next 2 came before 3rd April . They were the first 3 cases in India before detection started trickling in other parts of India . Yet the small state was leading in the Nation on number of cases. AS OF 10th APRIL OUT OF 364 CASES , 124 HAVE RECOVERED . THAT IS A GOOD RECOVERY RATE OF 34% .AND THE NUMBER OF CASES ALSO CONTAINED WELL . MANY OTHER STATES HAD OVERTAKEN.
The factors that could influence the recovery are awareness , early detection , early & effective treatment, age of patients and so on (in the case of Kerala 90+and 85 +have recovered). Maybe their food habits like adding herbs in regular diets as a routine could have also contributed an immune system in their genes .
The advantages of having more Recovered cases from COVID -19 :
*FIRST HEY HAVE DEVELOPED IMMUNITY TO THE Virus and will nevr get it again
* they will not spread the Virus to others.
*so they could be ideal professionals , volunteers for COVID 19 relief work. Recently a Nurse working with Covid 19 affected recovered and said will go on to work again to stop the contagion . Non professionals can do many clerical and functions related to distribution.
* if they are in a position and desirous of donating Blood, their Plasma will be valuable to the people who are very sick with COVID19 . and for people who are high risk working with such patients .

The question "how to interpret cured patients?" Mr Jayakumar is a valid one. How is one able to "cure" patients "without" appropriate "arsenal?" We yet don't have it. So, I interpret "cured patients" as those who "after quarantine for 14 days" have been released. more

The world is looking for an effective treatment for the covid-19, a vaccine, blood plasma from the cured patients, or any other. It takes time and until that the disease has be managed with the very difficult controls. Even in this short period of about three weeks people have got stressed, the economy is in ruins, and even the governments, the world over, are in problems and miseries. Very difficult times ahead for every one. Very hard choices between life and livelihood. more

SEARCH FOR CURE: It is understood that COVID-19 survives in cool area of the body like nasal part and throat etc. It is also understood that it cannot survive in the intestinal environment and/or temperatures above 54 degrees C. Should we not try for a home practicable cure along with medical prescription? It is felt that following two easy practices (a) drink slowly (sip by sip) half a glass of hot water frequently, say every hour during day time – the idea is to flush down the infection from throat area to intestine for elimination. (b) breathe steam for 5 minutes, three times a day. Steam may be produced in a pressure cooker with its weighted cap taken off and steam generated is conducted through a tube to a plastic bottle cut open across to facilitate breathing. For half the time (about 2.5 minutes) inhale with mouth and exhale through nose and for remaining half inhale with nose and exhale through mouth. The idea is to heat the breathing rout and throat area and make it unsuitable for virus to survive. Arrangements for this can also be made in Isolation wards and observations made to decide if it is useful or be discarded. Obviously, as no chemical or external and new matter is introduced in the body, there is no bad or adverse side effect from the experiment/experience. RYK. more
