Does DEO have powers?

Yesterday a parent and friend share a message saying that the District education officer of noida has issued orders to dps noida in sector 132 to take back 45 rusticated students or face derecognition.

The question I have is what powers does the deo of noida has to do this. Doesnt the power reside with education dept of up or cbse? What are they doing? more

Yes - Shalini Ji - They have all Power - But provide they exercise it - System is Defective and Corrupt - DEOs are Part of it. more

Dear Shaliniji here DEO means District Education Officer who is a representative of State Education Department in the district. He has full power to direct any school in the district. more
