Does Govt allow charging of GST over MRP

Please advise if Department of legal metrology and gst have now permitted levying gst over MRP? I have seen many online retailers take advantage of consumer and quietly levy gst on sales. See attached. more

From the above it can be concluded that no one should charge GST on MRP.It means MRP includes GST.Request confirm if my understanding is right. more

Madam, it is very clear that no retailers can charge GST on MRP or even if discounted MRP revised price. Govt. of India through a petition in this circle was requested for issue of a notification which unfortunately has not been issued till date. If some one go to file a complaint with consumer forum, he/she may get a relief as consumer forum have already adjudicated on the issue. In fact I wanted to file a class action suite which could not be done as the members have not been able to share the complaint with documents. In case, madam you want to file a complaint, please initiate with mailing the complaint to the retailer asking for refund of GST money, raise a complaint to the State controller of Legal Metrology and if refund is not received then file a complaint with consumer forum more
