Domestic Black Money Crackdown - my comment

Man by nature is possessive and he wants to accumulate more and more. To expect him to maintain his financial details, understand the complex provisions of various provisions, calculate tax payable, its payment and submit them periodically to not so honest Tax authorities does not appear to be a sound approach. We should aim at a System which determines (with least human interaction) tax payable by individuals/business and collects it. The rates should be very reasonable so that majority of the people do not feel them burdensome. We should have 'one nation:one tax'; at best two for selected items.
I have tried to explain them in the attachment. No legislation can ever be 100% fool-proof; therefore allow some margin.

Please go through them whether it could be a better opposition. It would be fitness of things if we members are informed particulars of the Core Committee(s). Thanks. more

The rhetorics like The statement mentioned in your presentation of FM should stop. Do the govt. really interested in eliminating the black money. It is all show for public. They will not get bank defaulters booked, small defaulters who could not pay for genuine reasons will be harassed. If industrialist evades it is NPA, if a farmer could not pay due to vagaries of nature, and state govt. supports, it is a step to block financial system (SBI ex chairman statement). Govt. is well aware of sources, stocks of black money but do not act. more
Why Government control Bank rates. Create deposit for retirement. more
With the reduced rate of interest on bank deposits, many a retiree’s are finding it hard to balance the monthly budget. Such people have no option but cut paying taxes. This year several retiree’s will resort to it. This way govt. will be driving honest taxpayers to tax cheers.... more
After introduction of digital banking transaction in the system, which is in huge chaos at present, India requires at least 5 decades to totally get rid of the habit of holding on to unaccounted money at homes. It is not only the banking operations that we need to bother about only, we need to bother about other governance systems eg health, education, transport, and energy supplies. For admission to academic institutions we still require money in black, as also with healthcare delivery. It has got to be admitted by the Govt of India that DeMonetisation and GST has not been successful as yet. It will be very wrong and agitating the public to oppose tooth and nail any attempt to crackdown on Domestic Black Money. more
