All, or most, Bengalis are non-vegetarians, including Brahmins unlike in many other states. We have had to give up mutton, chicken, pork and lamb due to the stale food from "Bhangar". Then we had to be careful in the fish that we buy due to the chemicals being allegedly used to keep them looking fresh! And now Bread! This is a disgrace for a State for which we could hold our head high once upon a time. Now we have to hang our head in shame! more
