Dont eat loose ice cream ever

As 70% of it has faecal coli bacteria per latest study. This is ice cream gola or local ice cream. This is per latest study.

Of the 10 loose ice cream samples collected from different parts of Ahmedabad and tested by the city’s Consumer Education and Research Centre, seven had very high Coliform count, much above the limit, which is indicative of possible faecal contamination.

The samples were tested according to limits set by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). more

Thank you Mr. Shah for your useful comment. I will not allow the children to eat loose ice creams. more
Very Good and useful information shared but the packed Ice cream especially local brands can not be trusted and be treated at par with loose ice-cream with a little difference that manufacturer can be identified in packed product. It is the failure of FSSAI for monitoring the Laboratories who do not conduct microbiological analysis. more
The quality of many loose ice cream vendors are not being examined by FSSAI more
Are these products allowed to be sold in the market? nothing is impossible in this country! more
Every food manufactured is with inferior quality ingredients. Water is drawn from open without ascertaining the source of the water. Area where products manufactured in a totally stinky, slushy hutments with fullest support of the concerned officials. Politicians play a major roll, as these products are sold through public platforms DO THE INDIAN FOOD MANUFACTURING/ SUPPLY, KITCHEN etc. have any laid down norms?,if yes and implemented, many of the eating joints in Mumbai, including , grade I,II,III restaurants might have been closed long ago. Until two years ago ROTIES and certain other deep fried food articles were sourced from hutments surrounded by stagnant slippery with breeding, filled with died caresses, and other waste disposals . This produces were then, supplied to the caterers of OUR COUNTRIES PRESTIGIOUS , which were detected and sealed. more
