Double Edged Sword
But, support from those sections who r not friends, not relatives, not family and not even of common ideology is like a double edged sword.
AAP came to power on the support base of Muslims, Christians, Naxal Sympathizers, Leftists, Pseudo Secularists, Pseudo Secular as well as highly corrupt Media and certain section of poor Hindus. All with diverse ideologies, needs & wants. And most importantly, all of them with radical thoughts, except the poor Hindu. All of them ready to run amok on the streets if slightly offended. Ample examples was the various and numerous street fights which the AAP supporters had with the BJP cadre in and around Delhi, in the past 1 and half year or so. Which was never the case between BJP and Congress supporters anywhere or any place in India.
This situation reminds me of a story:
Once there was a war between 2 Lions for supremacy over the jungle. Each time it was one lion of won. He was just, and had the support of the deer who were the majority in the jungle. The Hyenas, foxes, jackals & wolves who cud not target the deer as per their free will due to fear of this Lion king, put all their support behind his rival and encouraged him for another fight with the incumbent. All of them diverse. Each one hated the other due to common meat market, which was the deer. The Hyena hated the fox. The fox hated the jackal. The jackal hated the wolf, and so on. But, all of them came together to support the other Lion to defeat the incumbent. Lo and Behold! This lion won with their support.
But, the Lion who won and became King now, had a dilemma. Since, by default, he was king of the deer too who were 80% of the Jungle population. Does he protect them, as the previous King did, or shud he open them up to periodic attacks from his diverse range of carnivorous supporters?
If he chooses to be protective of the deer, then probably he will loose the support of his carnivorous supporters who might not again support him in his next fight with the previous King, who was bound to challenge him sooner or later. If he gives his supporters a free hand, it wud spell anarchy in the Jungle, and perhaps the previous King might summon up maximum support against him the next time.
This is the situation of Kejriwal now. Does he ignore the Hindu majority and pamper only those who supported him? And those who supported him wud be definitely looking to extract their price for support.
How is Kejriwal going to rule by ignoring the Hindu Majority and their aspirations. A majority who did not vote for him. This is something the whole world wud want to see, observe and watch. more
