All the work pertaining to drainage must be commenced during night time only. Traffic becomes a big issue without unwarranted diversions. Help general public cope with such uncalled events in rush hour. more
- A lot of illegal drains are connected with the collusion of the municipality without any planning and illegally adding to the burden on the drainage system. Especially a case with apartments and illegally constructed buildings. - A lot of drains are decades old and have never been maintained or replaced and are therefore in a terrible state of disrepair. - Solid waste from the drains and garbage that is not picked up after the roads have been swept and dumped at street corners also block the drain. more

The solid waste can be collected instead of leaving it to flow into the drainage system and choking the drainage system, and used as city compost and reused as organic manure useful to plant growth. This input will enhance the fertility of the soil and also help in reducing to some extent the use of chemical fertilizer. more
