Dream of Akhand Bharat
The headline in Times of India today:
Merge Pakistan, Bangladesh in Akhand Bharat: MVA’s swipe at BJP.
Former CM Fadnavis had said, “BJP is in favour of Akhand Bharat. Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut said BJP must regain PoK first, while NCP’s minister Nawab Malik took it further, saying if Germany could become one , “BJP should not find it tough to merge Pakistan and Bangladesh in Akhand Bharat”.
This whole exchange may appear to be daydream. But let us look at the advantages of Akhand Bharat as it existed before 1947.
1. All terrorist activities will stop.
2. Defence expenditure of each country will reduce tremendously.
3. No more deaths of Army and BSF jawans.
4. No need to have on Consulates.
5. It will set an example for rest of the world for peace. more

ROI in Akhand Bharat (with PAK & Bangladesh) is very less than ROI in Akhand Bharat (without PAK & Bangladesh). So the present status will continue. more
