Drones from neighbouring countries - can’t we shoot them down.?
It is being reported that there are thousands of drones being used in India for the purposes of photography , surveillance , crowd control, film shootings ,intelligence gathering .
Some companies have expressed their resentment of controls specially being imposed in the recent times in view of increased enemy activity.
In view of the increased security threat at border states, local drones used must be registered , monitored and data to be kept under tight vigil.
Even ban can be enforced in border states in view of recent arms drops, surveillance patrolling by enemy.
My question to authorities is if we have anti aircraft radars ,guns why not it be used to neutralise them and down them?
I am surprised at the increase of drone activity in western border states . more

There is a very urgent need to control the activities of drones along the borders and along all the cost lines. more

Very good policy, at the same time strict & alert control mechanism be there for safety reasons of all. more

All inventions can be put to good or bad activities. It is difficult to see a flying drone on radar if it is flying at low altitude and to neutralize it. There is a need to regulate ownership and rigid rules flying of them at different locations and purposes. Drones can cause accidents to aircrafts near airports. It can cause an accident to helicopters. Privacy can get compromised with their use as high resolution cameras can be fitted on them. more
