DTDC Misplaced my Original Document.
This is regarding my CN# Z13546897, I gave this packet to DTDC Saidulajab office on 13th Jan 2017. And it was said that it will reach to destination (Haldwani- Uttarakhand) by 16th Jan. But till today this packet is not traceable. Even can't check the details as the same is not available in DTDC site. It says data not available.
When I enquired about this to the concerned office, they are also clueless on this and said that we will check and inform whenever they find it.
They gave me branch office no and said that it’s out from our office so I need to enquire from branch office as they are not responsible for that.
Again when I checked with Branch office they said they never received this packet so need to check that same office only,
That courier guy told me that they received so many packets every day, and some packets may miss somewhere and you should not send original documents through courier etc. and its nothing new in DTDC.
Really I was shocked to hear this from a service industry guy to make these comments with customers.
Even I enquired the same with DTDC customer care and they also not replying on this issue.
Can anyone suggest me on this that what to do in such case. more

Better to approach the Consumer Court claiming for damage. Meanwhile, ask the DTDC in writing against acknowledgement, delivery of the parcel to the addressee or return it to the sender within a given time, adding that in the event of their failure in doing so you will be compelled to initiate legal action claiming damages. more

First u send a legal notice through an advocate stating the deficiency of service about DTDC. Then u can file a consumer O.P. before the concern Consumer forum for compensation. more

I too had problems with DTDC. We are in business. Our COD cheque is lost from TIRUPATI. No one is taking responsibility since 1 Jan 17, Now if we get cheque it will be over date. One of our consignment (PART LOAD) going through DTDC cargo was held for some irregularity in some different octroi issue. Nobody was owning problems. So DTDC seems to be worst as far as we all think. Only alternative is avoid DTDC. There are many more
