Dual citizenship for the new born babies.
As per the rule if a Indian mother gives birth to a child in other countries the child would get the citizenship of that particular country. Will the child gets the Indian citizenship if both the parents are Indians or if Father is a Indian or both father & mother to be an Indian. In case of the mother giving birth in India, they would submit Indian doctor's certificate from the hospital mother was admitted.
For the baby of other countries, whether foreign hospital certificate is enough, to get the birth certificate in India??? When the terrorist activities are increasing what this activities will have an impact?? What measures were taken to deal this neatly?? already procedures are existing?? more

Thanks for the guidance sir. Actually our situation is that baby was born abroad, if we want to get the certificate in India we need to provide some supporting documents to get the citizenship. we provide birth certificate for citizenship proof during government jobs. What about the babies born in abroad? Since few officials do not give reply and getting answer in this circle was easy. So I posted this issue. more

The Present situation is that the child born in India of Indian Parent - by birth he is Indian Citizen unless he/parent obtain other citizenship. Child born abroad of Indian Parent will have /considered as Indian Citizen till he reaches 18 years but having choice to retain that countries citizenship Or Indian - only on his maturity. 2. Birth Certificate in India is only applicable to babies taken Birth in India. No foreign hospital certificate to be considered to issue another certificate from Indian Authorities - it will be bad in law. 3. Reg. "When the terrorist activities & What measures " Dual Citizenship is already prevailed even in India for NRI - which will be guideline to the effect on case to case basis. This is the best question for any Country . Many Indians do possess Citizenship of other Countries . This issues since an international applicability , shall be dealt and concluded . to be on Safe-side , while issuing the Citizen ship to a Foreign Citizen , the factfull details of that Citizen number is also to be included by the Country issuing a new Citizenship while there shall be an arrangement of cancelling the original Citizenship by both the Countries . This procedure can be internationally acceptable. Further , for such of these individuals , there shall be the provision of re-instating the original Citizenship if he permanently hails to the origin giving commitment & urge Letter to both the Countries upon which the original Citizenship is to be revived while cancelling the second Citizenship please . This administrative method is in general and not subjected to any Rule of law please . more
