DYNAMIC PRICING / PREMIUM TICKET BY CUTTING THE QUOTA OF TATKAL - COMMON MAN WORSTLY AFFECTED.

Recently the Government increased the category of Premium Trains and Dynamic fare method of selling train tickets. Sir, nowadays the advance reservation period is increased 120 days and the availability of tickets and 2AC and 3AC in any route is reduced due to introduction of premium / dynamic pricing of tickets in most of the sectors. This is actually hit the comman man very worstly. The Railways being a Government player should not resort to such a had hitting technique to increase the revenue as done by the Private Companies. Instead of dynamic/premium pricing Railway can increase the quota in Tatkal arrangement and increase the Revenue. more
