E-ticketing through IRCTC portal

I have booked e-ticket from Jhansi to Habibganj by Shatabdi Express. At the time of booking availability was 367 seats in CC. We are a family of 4 for which ticket has been booked but to my surprise following seats have been booked (coach No./Seat No.) C4/25, C4/58, C6/73 and C6/74. Is that the way allotment should be made? 367 seats mean around 5 vacant coaches. Was that in 367 seats all 4 could not be provided at one place? This is ridiculous. Railways talks big about passenger comfort and their Internet reservation system. And see what IRCTC has to say against this:
"Please note that your reservation request is processed by the centralized Passenger Reservation System (PRS) of Railways and allotment of accommodation is done by the System without any manual intervention. The berths are allotted based on the system logic, depending on availability at that point of time. Further the reservation through the Internet is being done against the general quota and specific accommodation is not earmarked for the purpose of Internet reservations.
Please note that at the time of journey you can request the fellow-passengers for change of the seats."
They further say that they are not the authority for internet reservation, they are only a link between railways and passenger. Why then IRCTC?
I and my wife both senior citizens have been allocated seat number 25 and 58 and the other two of family in different coach.

The IT Dept has to introduce preferred seat options especially for senior citizens and can restrict with age limits to misuse this options more  
They have an option called book only if lower berth is allotted and if you click ther.. u find ur tkts r not booked.. becoz lower berth can not be alloted.. but when u board train u will find many lower berth are vacated.. surprise... more  
ya thts very true.. i never got lower berth.. even seats are available.. online always gives upper or side upper berths..even i applied for senior citizen. still they gave upper berth.. system does not understand.. hope less.. more  
Its true railway IT team should look into this, is this a program error or some thing else. more
