Its really good that people of many countries will enjoy visa on arrival in India. What about Indians going to these countries? What are we getting in return? more
This issue is really a concern for all Indian Passport holders where not many countries issue visa on arrival . Worst is on application for a visit visa those countries exploit Indian Passport holders . They still have false notion and Indian as backword and they look down. Example --- Europe consolates, etc. .Indian Foreign ministry should help to change this notion. . more
Indian passport holders can travel to 52 countries either visa free or visa on arrival. It makes Indian passport 76th and well below the 174 visa free or visa on arrival priority of NO 1 British, German, Finnish and US passports. Unfortunately more countries are toughened Visa conditions for Indian passport holders in recent years. As a conclusion, the open door policy may benefit revenue in terms of more tourists but would not help us Indians to expect anything in return. more
