Urologists say that dark chocolate can cause recurrence of stone in persons having past history of kidney stone . Is it not true? more

The benefits of dark chocolate are much more than the negatives if it is consumed in small quantities. On the positive side: - It is full of anti-oxidants which prevent aging of organs resulting in a fitter and younger body. - Results in the production of mood enhancing hormones. - It has many flavonoids which help prevent disease such as cancer, reduce the level of blood glucose - good for diabetics, ... On the negative side: - It still has some sugar - High calories - It has unhealthy fats and caffeine which can be addictive Consumption in small quantities is the key. more

It may not be true but remember all chocolates contain Cocoa and Hydrogenated oil. Cocoa is an intoxicating materiel which is finally neutralized in lever. That causes unnecessary pressure on lever. It also habit forming and addictive. Thus it is like a younger brother of Alcohol. Again Hydrogenated Oils contain lots of Trans fats. These are notorious for causing Atrial Blockages. And as is well known Atrial Blockages are major causes of Heart Attacks. so eat Dark Chocolates at your own risk. Now you are warned. more
