eCommerce rules of GOI

Govt has presented a gpod budget but its done a terrible thing by stopping cloudtail from selling on amazon.

Our monthly shopping happened at big bazaar today and it was easily 800-1000 more expensive.

So amazons loss is not gain of small trader (as we will never shope there) but gain of big business.

Is that what the intention was? Frankly big bazaar experience sucks. They even bought hypercity which was a good experience and made it big bazaar.

Well hope cloudtail on amazon will come back soon. more

IMHO, etailers were circumventing the FDI requirement (min local procurement) by selling their own brand as discounted price, compared to other competitors of the same product. The ideal behind local procurement is to encourage and support local industry. By promoting their own goods manufactured locally they indeed abided the min local procurement, but it means the rule was observed in letter and not in spirit. If we are concerned about the overall economic development of the society and every section of the society being part of it, etailers have to support local industry/vendors in fair manner. more

Ms Aditi is right, as on today most of the biggest retailers / mall are selling their own products / brands including Relience, DMart, more etc then why only punish online e retailer ??? more
When a new regulation is implemented there will be disruptions. One has to wait & watch for few time to see the pros & cons. But we people impatient & look at the immediate loss to certain sector of people who look at their self benefits only. Wait & then judge some tomes short time loss to few may be bigger gain in the long run. more
