There was a post in Local Circles by Dept of Consumer affairs on a similar issue (MRP includes GST) and they had mentioned that anyone facing such issue can bring it to their notice. You can search that post and submit this for their action, though the two issues (what they had highlighted and what you have highlighed) are technically different more

We are all here to take action rather than ask someone to take action. If the ministry's website is not updated or if mails are gtting bounced, you should reach out to Hon. PM through his website by registering a grievance. That's the right approach and not asking me to ask Ministry of Cons affairs to do this and that. more

First ask Ministry of Consumer Affairs to update their sites. The mail sent to the Minister is getting bounced. In one website the Consumer Affairs last updated information is 2014. The help line functions only like a post office. You mean to say none of the staff/Officers/Secretaries watching the TV advertisements? Fair & Lovely add - how many years this add is coming. Is it possible to change the skin color. Likewise Surf Excell matic removes the stains. Ask the company technical department to come and remove the stain in my presence. The Sensor department should be rigid and should not allow such advertisements unless and until they prove their product in their presence. We all should fight for freedom from the manufacturers/Traders/politicians/government etc...... more
