Ecommerce Standards
I am very happy that Ecommerce policy draft has been released yesterday. However many sub standards sites and apps are operating in India that are compromising both money and data of our people.
It is highly critical that the BIS forms some basic standards for ecommerce websites and apps and without this certification they should not be allowed to operate in the country. Security and Delivery certainty is critical feature.

The buyers using the ecommerce site should examine the ratings and comments, before proceeding further. more

yes , so many e commerce sites are that take the buyer for a ride , license should eb made mandatory more

In fact all Apps available on Google Play Store need to be BIS compliant. Only such Apps should be allowed to be downloadable on mobiles or laptops which bear BIS certification. I understand this is difficult task but the Govt. should act in this direction. more
