COD is stopped by major eCommerce companies in India due to current withdrawal limits and get rid of the situation to accept 500 & 1000 tenders. Many of our eCommerce clients requested us to stop such facility on their online store till 30th Dec. I don't think that it 'll be affected in near future. As per one of an official statement by Fin Min Arun Jaitley the situation and short of new currency will be normal in 2 or 3 weeks. COD is the backbone of any eCommerce store and temporary affected, recovered soon. more

This will also help protect the interests of vendors / suppliers. A lot of customers play with suppliers by ordering items and then rejecting it or by asking multiple vendors to supply the same item and then rejecting most of them. In this case they will need to pay upfront. Also now peoples expenses can be tracked. more

I dont think COD delivery will have any issue in future. To curb black money, heavy cash transactions at constructions and jewellery this is a good move by PM and RBI more

As far as COD is concerned,as of now u can withdraw only 2000 a day.What if the desired product costs u 9000/ bugs more
