Economic offences -luke warm punishments.

The number of acquittals in the economic offences cases filed by CBI is not a healthy sign for the country.
In all states in many old cases they failing to prosecute the accused even if they had good evidence.Mere attachments of properties are a mere pittance compared to the earlier estimates of thousands of crores being swindled .
In many cases the delay is the cause of cases getting diluted and appeals against the CBI convictions are admitted by higher courts and finally they are being cleared of the crime.
Mean while all those continue to do goebbels propaganda that they are framed by political animosity and that they hope to get acquitted .This type of statements by politicians will strengthen the will of his or her followers to continue the bad policies and finish the witnesses by bribe, threat, accidents, murdered, and hope to escape in spite of evidence .
A new way must be thought of and a ordinance must be passed declaring that all CBI courts decisions are final and is out of purview of normal courts except Supreme Court .
A serious rethinking must be done by well meaning governments whether they can bring back moral values in public life and the govt prosecuting machinery must frame good laws and convict all economic offenders by special fast track courts with summary powers which cannot be challenged in other courts except Supreme Court.
Disenfranchising is a answer for these bold conomic offenders besides confiscationof property , imprisonment .They should not be able to contest for public posts like assembly ,parliament the rest of their life and no position in any organisation.
People who have suffered in the hands of these economic offenders and the loss of tax payers money ,investors money point to a serious flaw in the system and hope that the new GOI will frame water tight laws to prevent escape of these culprits. more

Prabhakar garu hope what you wrote will come true . We are all waiting for the day Will it come ? Now you have posed us 2 questions : 1. Is CBIbeing used by the ruling party ? 2. Or Judiciary being influenced. Any way the finay is with the Judiciery . They are also under the Government . Where do we go ? Sorry I am able to only pose questions not participate in the solutions. more
The incident of 4 SC Judges prefer and sought Media Support TENDER US REALIZE FOR A NATIONAL LEGAL FORUM not only to demand Judicial REFORMS, but also work under the rights of Constitutional Remedies for the innocent Citizen and all our generations . more
This discussion can go on endlessly and ad infinitum. Yes, we have expressed ourselves fully and gave also suggestions. But , what next.? The legislature, the buresucrscy, the judiciary, and even the media are not effective in achieving net total results, except for public squabbling. This type of democracy is tending to become a zero sum game!!! Proactive Advocacy and mobilization of civic response in a mass scale seems to be only alternative, even though efforts such as those of Anna Hazare have ended in a damp squib. Arise, Awake and REST NOT. more
TRUE AND IS THE ONLY REMEDY TO CURB ECONOMIC OFFENCES at least for enabling the 55% poor to provide sufficient Food, Clothing and minimum education to their Children and live realizing the article 21 and 51 A justified the guarantee of the Constitution . more
This is an issue worth taking on priority because it is the very root cause of corruption in this country. The offenders go unpunished which is why there are plenty of cases of such nature. The verdict against the offenderes must be timely, severe and no room for appeal, but at the same time the cases must be above board and ruthlessly just. more
The Cases of Financial issues held at ACB, CBI, H.C./S.C. amounts to lakhs of Crores. NPAs to Thousands of Crores . JUSTICE FAST NEEDED REALIZING POVERTY STATISTICS OF 2011 . more
Cure for this type of offences should be fast track courts whose decision should be final and no further appeal even in supreme court is allowed. The minute appeal is allowed, witnesses are bought and judgements can be reversed in appeal. more
CBI is no different from the state police. Therefore its investigation is as good or bad as that of Police. Only difference is that an Investigating officer in CBI get more time and better resources than the State Police Investigator. more
