India as a country may be crippled with a lot of issues like conspiracies, corruption and scams. We do spend a lot of time and effort trying to mitigate the issues.
For once, I urge you all to look into one of our biggest strengths. Our human Capital. Indians in general are blessed with good intellect. If only we could nurture this talent pool, the face of India would change forever.
Pasted below is an excerpt from wiki on demographic data of our country.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_India
“India has more than 50% of its population below the age of 25 and more than 65% below the age of 35. It is expected that, in 2020, the average age of an Indian will be 29 years, compared to 37 for China and 48 for Japan; and, by 2030, India'sdependency ratio should be just over 0.4.[7]”
If the right kind of education is given to the budding generation, I believe it would be the one most important steps towards wiping out poverty corruption and unemployment forever. And by education I meant not just literacy. Our young minds should be stimulated to evolve into global citizens. Instilling the right values and giving a world class perspective would present us with a human capital that can be the envy of the world.
Education in the true sense is one of the fundamental factors of development. No country can achieve sustainable economic development without substantial investment in human capital. Education enriches people’s understanding of themselves and world. It improves the quality of their lives and leads to broad social benefits to individuals and society. Education raises people’s productivity and creativity and promotes entrepreneurship and technological advances. In addition it plays a very crucial role in securing economic and social progress and improving income distribution.

Can the government consider allowing grants for the same?
Do we have more selfless educationalists and visionaries who can come forward to take our nation to the next level ? more
