Karnataka seems to be Flat 40 % for all ? more
Looks like the Congress was unsure that they would come to power on their own - at best, they thought they would be a part of a coalition. Hence, all the freebies were promised. Later, coalition compulsions could be conveniently blamed for not providing them. However, now they need to provide the same, to look truthful. Hence, all the fine print. What it effectively means that the honest tax payer will be left with nothing, as always. Expect hike in rates of Water, Milk, Rice, Property Tax etc, apart from Electricity. The slabs have been reduced from 3 to 2. As an auto driver was telling me yesterday - Wait and Watch for the list of items/commodities/services which will see a price hike this year. And our Dy. C.M. is off on a jaunt to Singapore, to see how tunnels can be built/used to reduce traffic congestion. How very innovative!! more
BESCOM has said that the bill amount will reduce from next month. more
Seems intension of congress was to grab power through freebies. Free power with so many conditions that very rarely consumer will get benefits of 200 units and that too when Gruha Jyothi portal needs atleast 3-4 hours to register & that too not sure whether a. Consumer can get registered..Next impossible to register by 5th July.. more
here in karnataka ministers were corrupt and their intentions were only to get votes but somehow their high command told them to do it since lok sabha polls were going to be held next year and for the opposition this will become a big point and they will lose the elections they were sure hence they are trying their best to do it .Since their intentions were not to do it and also they were not sure of getting elected but since bjp were weak in adminstration and did not have a strong person unlike in congress who have lot of able leaders who can administratively run which is lacking in BJP esp in karnataka. Now the govt is trying to see how to minimise the impact and I feel in all probability after the lok sabha elections if they do not get votes they may remove the freebies. more
