Election time is earning season for railway

Haffttahors and extortionist of Railway are enjoying election time of India. It is a great opportunity to expand their ever green business. Babus are busy disposing of fines which ensure them great extortion and future flouting all guidelines. Contracts have been awarded and contractors are being paid without any rules as there is no one to control them. Besides all underworld dons are waiting for return of their Acche din and are hoping for return of Hafftta Raj so that they can expand their empire. All the best, use this time to loot nation in all possible ways and wait for defeat of Modi. more

Specific cases should have been illustrated. Corruptions are not prevailing only in railways but in other areas as well. This season corruptions in railways are not because of the elections but because of the vacation period of schools & colleges, when we, the common people, glorify ourselves by paying any amount over and above the specified fares to ensure a confirmed berth legally or illegally and are in the habit of blaming the people working in railways. Should we not first become honest in every respects before blaming others! more
In a democracy, we the people elect persons to head the government and various ministries. If we elect corrupt parties and politicians, then we have to face the consequences. more
more

Election time is great opportunity for all perhaps n the most for politicians. Right now I am in my village- Rohina, Dt. Etah U.P.. Yesterday my illiterate nephew asked me to fill up an application form for grant of Rs.2 lacs by the Govt in the name of "Beti Padhao Beti Bachao" Scheme for her daughter. Obviously poor illiterates get easily attracted by the name of scheme. I was stunned whether govt is really distributing so much of money whereas govt schools have no infrastructure n teachers in U.P. And the worst is these forms are being sold for Rs.20 each. Imagine if 1 crore forms are sold and huge money being collected by sheer farce of allurement before elections. Next day when asked the man who brought this form told me that already 15 lac forms have been deposited thru post offices. Unable to understand it's efficacy I tried to send photocopy of the form to CEC but failed on its email. So opportunities are a galore in Indian system but poor illiterated suffer at the hands of dishonest n crooks. The system is intentionally left too porous to exploit.
