Electricity Department of Ghaziabad
yesterday i.e. on 26.7.15 I got Quitter words by a SDO of UPPCL that the local fault can be made within 24 hours as per rule. Linemen can take this time either anybody survive with damage appliances or got fire in their home. Actualy the matter was that : at 11.45 a fault occurred in electric line and the input voltage was about 350Volts. I complained immediately but the supply didnot disconnected. I regular chase my complaint in every 1 hour but the fault didn't redressed due to unavailibility of linemen. At 5.30 when I called SDO, he said the above words. afterall at 6.30pm the fault got redressed after 6 hours. Here is a question that who will be responsible for any mishappening. more

Dear Sir, I am very younger than you. May be you are correct But today BJP is very weak politicaly by its nature due to its own members (parshad) some where. Baleshwar Tyagi and Ramesh Chand Tomar are such persons who elected approx. 4 times as MLA and MP but didn't commit any work for and contribute their hardship in Ghaziabad progress. Ghaziabad had Progressed due to only and only some honest officers and by some U.P. CMs interest. Today we are facing much problems regarding Nagar Nigams staff due to only and only BJP Member Mr. Jain about 2 years has been passed but I ddin't saw him in my area though he take some times my phone but I got only "ASHWASAN". Pressure less Dirty water, choked drains, gutters and a big garbage stock on the edge of my street is looking not more than HARIZAN BASTI. instead of Nai Basti. Water Lodging in small rain, defective street lights, Ramshackle roads are some common problem that we suffer. Mr. member said no body listen him. more

I agree up to 1976 Ghaziabad was best Governed under the Municipal Board/ Ghaziabad Impprovement Trust. But soon after becoming District GDA was first to come up and many Residential schemes soon started on a faster mode. DM/ SSP/ UPSIDC/ were in action. New Ghaziabad in Trans Hindon Area was conceived with big Residential schemes. Later on in 1993 NIGAM started with first Mayor DC Garg. He did good work and became Mayor 4 times. BJP was politically strong. But sudden flood of migration / change of Governances on State level/ Unstable Governance at Center / Creation of NOIDA / Gr. NOIDA/ Delhi NCR expansion and priorities Ghaziabad started losing steam . But migration continued unbridled in good hopes. UP state itself started losing steam. But since Noida/ Gr. Noida/ Ghaziabad are still considered the best places for better job prospects and businesses migration is continuing unbridled and whole Administrative machinery is helplessly sinking. This has given birth to lot of Evils in the Society and Administration. Unbridled expansion of Private Education / dying Industrialisation due to basic infrastructure not available have added to more problems for the citizens / Migrants / administration. Now problems have increased on all fronts. Glamour is visible all around and Living is becoming more problematic and UNSAFE. We all have to live with this situation and hope for the better. Politically also Delhi NCR is most vunerable and unstable. more

At the time of formation of Dist. Ghaziabad in 1976, it was most advanced town in NCR ahead of Gurgaon, Faridabad. Noida and Greater Noida came in existence later on. But the neglect of this town by municipal authorities, State and Central govt. and NCR Board have taken this town at bottom of all above listed NCR town. Who should be penalized and action taken against? more

I had commented before and further repeat that both GDA and Nagar Nigam need to bemet by a delegation of the residents and afterwards a memo to be sent to the highest authority. How long should we keep crying. Dr S.Sanyal more

The motive of Nagar Nigam is - “To attain its motive the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation ensures sufficient water supply, maintains health and hygiene standards, proper up keeping of drainage and Sewerage System. Besides this, it is also in charge of maintaining roads, bridges and flyovers. It also undertakes construction of schools, health centers and recreations centers, public spaces like parks, exhibition and community halls.” Have they attained any one of these? They are renowned for "Contaminated water supply", "Irregular power supply", "Overflowing drainage", "Open manholes", "Waterlogging streets" and what else not.
