A person from Punjab travelling in Gujarat may not get access to any help line. There should be a police helpline number for all persons entering into a particular State and the same be sent to him/her as soon as one enters the State as is being done by Himachal Pradesh Police till the time helpline number 112 is launched in the whole country. more
Thanks a lot. It is very helpful for senior citizens with NRI children and staying alone. Please let me know if there is a water proof arm band which will set an alarm in case of a fall etc. Ogoti Anandaram anandaram.ogoti @gmail.com, more
Hope calls r attended & relief / step arranged at proper time, or same like B4. more
Very good initiative, thanks to GoI. One number for all important services in case of a distress. May sound sceptic - hope it works and link people in need to services. Training of staff, coordination of services and response time are very critical for success of the initiative. more
Let us hope someone at the other picks up the phone, is able to understand the language of the caller is speaking and takes action. more
