Enable lc for traders and merchants

I have been contributing on this platform for last 2 years. I think this platform should be used by traders and merchants to amplify there voice many of who are facing the onslaught due to large business or foreign capital. Many are silently fading away as there total sales is down by 50-90% as compared to 2014-2015.

CAIT and other trader bodies claim to be voice of traders merchants but to me its people fulfilling political ambitions and no real impact is there to small grocery store or mobile seller. more

Please raise all relevant issues /problems faced by our traders more
the following are the concerns
lack of capital , most small traders are hand to mouth existence , this is one main reason why their sibling to do want to continue business and running after jobs , this has a major impact on the economic scenario more burden on govt to create jobs
harassment from govt officials especially state govt , they are soft targets , very easy to extract bribes from them , most of them are not aware of the law and their rights , and legal system is very expensive and laborious,
unfair pricing advantage from suppliers , in most cases the e commerce arm twist their suppliers to give better pricing than that which is given to traders ,they also get inflated mrp to show false discounts to buyers
before a new product is launched they make sure that it is available to them exclusively buyer has no option but to buy online as the same product is not available on retail
our previous postings on this site gave ample proof of how e commerce portals are selling above mrp
the present govt is taking the right steps in curbing their nuisance , the e commerce portal also encourage spurious and fake products which are rampant on eCommerce sites more
I agree to some extent with Bhuvnesh Thakur but will like to add that the business has to adopt to the changing consumer preferences and tastes as well as adopt latest technologies, marketing techniques and trends to keep them prospering - obsolete products and technologies are bound to go phut more
Market is always with the consumers, who swings depending upon rate and the quality. The government hardly interferes and presently the market swings towards cheap market. more
I think we all are getting it wrong. We all are buying Chinese goods since long. So naturally, our own industry will go down slowly and effects are now showing prominently. Even these traders are to blame. They have promoted chinese goods in their shops so much that people who were buying the same are now not having jobs and are not able to buy anything from these same shops. How can we have jobs when we do not buy locally manufactured goods providing jobs to local people? Simple. Govt. can not do anything in this. We all citizens need to think long term and ensure we buy only locally manufactured goods as far as possible. This will provide jobs to local people and keep us in job / business. Otherwise, we all are doomed. Govt. can not give a mandate like this. There are many compulsions for govt. but we all can decide now to buy only locally manufactured goods. And soon, within three to four years, we all will start prospering and then we shall realize our true potential. There will still be some products or raw materials which has to be imported but that will be small portion of a big overall pie. I hope we all understand and start this now. It is still not too late. more
Earlier Govt. all types of Frauds were encouraged through benami business houses . Now the real economy is coming out with steady growth in future, All fraud transaction, NGO's International funding for destroying India are under control. So naturally the business will be in real terms . more
