Modi govt should ask all state govts. to encourage solar power also besides natural cow dung bio gas to solve our energy crisis. All state govt. must provide 33% subsidy in equipments and the power generated extra can be grided to state power generation and thereby energy self sufficient + income generation to the person concerned. Wherever possible and feasible wind energy should also be explored more

बिजली कटौती पर विशेष रहिमन चार्जिँग राखिए, इनवर्टर सुबह ओ शाम. इनवर्टर बिन चले नहीँ, गर्मी मेँ किसी का काम. बिजली के इंतजार मेँ, इनवर्टर हुआ फेल. सीलिँग फैन को भूल जा, हाथ से पंखा झेल. बिजली की हालत देखकर, दिया कबीरा रोय. एसी कूलर सब है घर मेँ, लेकिन चले न कोय. बड़ा हुआ सो क्या हुआ, जैसे एसी व्हर्लपूल. सुबह शाम रहती यहाँ, रोजाना बिजली गुल. रात गँवायी जाग के, दिवस गँवाया सोय. बिजली के इस फेर मेँ, काम हुआ न कोय. बिजली इतनी दीजिए, रात नीँद आ जाए. मैँ भी चैन से सो सकूँ, बच्चा भी सो जाए. बिजली आवत देख के, अम्मा करे पुकार. चार्जर तेरा फेँक उधर, लगा मिक्सी का जार. घर के बीचोँ बीच एक, कुआँ लो खुदवाय. बिजली पानी न मिले, फिर भी प्यास बुझ जाए. रहिमन पंखा हाथ का, मत फेँको किसी ओर. ढूंढते हुए हो जाओगे, पसीने से सराबोर. चाहे घर मेँ लगा रखे होँ, कूलर एसी फूल. तुलसी तहाँ न जाइए, बिजली रहती गुल. मोमबत्ती और चिमनी का, गया जमाना बीत. बिजली के इस ड्रामे से, फिर से लौटी रीत. रहिमन घर मेँ केरोसिन, तुरतहिँ लो मंगवाय. क्या जाने कब किस बखत, बिजली गुल हो जाय. I would like to suggest, if our present govenrment could think of nationalising all rivers so that conflict between states can be avoided. more

At present the cost of generating power through alternative methods (solar, wind etc) are costly. More R&D is required to bring down the cost of generation. In my opinion government should wait for some more time (till new inventions bring the cost down) before investing money on this. I understand the power generation through alternative methods are not contributing much at present. Hence it is not going to make much impact even if not encouraged. But I strongly believe the future of power generation lies in these alternative sources only. more
