Engaging Local Civic Bodies into your Swachh Bharat initiatives

Dear all:

45 local Swachh Bharat circles are now available. You can look up the one for your area here:
http://tinyurl.com/Find-A-Circle

If you do not have a Swachh Bharat circle existing for your constituency/city, you can create one.

It is recommended that via the local circle of Swachh Bharat in your constituency/city, citizens meet up for an in person discussion or cleanliness drives. Also, a core committee may be formed which meets the local municipal agency on a monthly basis to brief them on key cleanliness issues.

A long term partnership between citizen community and local civic bodies is critical for Swachh Bharat in your constituency and city.

We look forward to your inputs!

Finally, what we need is the sincere and uncorrupt local bodies, corporators, officers in Municipality can only carry forward this programme to the right direction with the help of local people, areawise. Awareness programme should be made compulsorily in the respective WARDS to take up the programme. more
