Enhance Consumer laws in India
An Indian grocery chain called Patel Brothers, spread all across USA, paid a huge price yesterday, when they hiked up prices of their groceries three times over.
A customer complained against them in the New Jersey store and as a resulted they were fined 250,000$.
India should also make such stringent laws and take all complaints that come in your circles and so class action against entities that are cheating consumers more

Yes our govt must have stringent rules in place so that ordinary citizens are not taken for a ride in such crisis. more

Such Indians will show their class any where they live. Good they are fined, but in India people are taking advantage of this situation and hiked rates of essential groceries. Law here is very porous hence they go scotfree. more

We are living in India where everyone is permitted to act as per his will and illegal profiteering is a common practice and accepted by majority of our people. We have laws on paper but there is no one to ensure their strict compliance. more
