It's a very relative discussion and what applies to one city may not be applicable to others. Every city has its own characteristics and such subject should be discussed in the context of that city only. more

To check price rise of foodgrains,it is suggessted that more food grains of rice & wheat lying idle in FCI godowns.Just to keep more than 10% of buffer stock huge quantity may be release to open market to reduce the demand & which may curb the lowering of price rise,will also check inflation.In addition,big Silos of Adani Agri logistics may arrange in districtwise for safe preservation of food grains & also reduce post-harvest lossess which may occur at the tune of 15-20% per year.Discremination of delivary of food grains in rural & urban population of West Bengal must be stopped.Govt.godown should directly supply the food grains to fair price shop without interference of any middle agencies which brings pilferage of the stock meant for poor population.Food policy may kindly be change to provide equal quantity of food grains to all in same price through public distribution system by involving public or private participation. more
