How does GST or consumer affairs dept plan to ensure that lots of categories where gst has been reduced from 28% recently the mrp also reduces.

Everything will settle down with competition prices of every items will reduce 20% let gst settle in 6 months time. more

There is little chance for the same reduction to be passed down UNLESS there is a provision in the GST to buy at a higher Rate and selling at a Lower Rate to recover Tax Paid and actually payable due to reduction in GST Is there a PROVISION. IN the case of Housing there is a BIG Scam. PURCHASE OF HOUSING FLATS booked before the date was service Tax @ 4.5 % for the services and labor portion, while ST was not adjustable. No provision for increase in Tax, since their construction was also to take place within a limited time and after ... 12 % but there is no adjustment being made by the Builder as they claim No clarification on the TAX What This means --- Cost of Flat has Gone up by 7.5 % due to GST while this is debatable for New Flat bought as the Price of Negotiation is different While those who have bought before are being forced to pay more The Law must make this clear and ask the Builders for Proof of not Taking extra from the Purchasers. The Government must clarify to all people who bought a flat under construction before the GST Date. more

The customer / consumers are being exploited by the manufactures without any clarity in pricing mechanism. Let government think of some ways and means to give relief to the public. more
