EPF Claim

Hi, I worked with a company 10 years before and don't know my PF account no. How i can claim amount now. more

First of all check your pay slip to confirm you paid and PF contribution or not. more
Is your previous company got PF trust managed by them or sending the contributions deducted from your salary along with their contribution to EPFO. Did the company give any statment of PF deduction amounts at any ppoint of time. ? what is the name of the company? Please findout from the EPFO office concerned , whether your company is registered and any contributions are deposited . Frome them you can find out and lodge a complaint with the EPFO office that your company did not settle the PF amount in case your company is maintaing]PF trsut of the employees . more
No other go except contacting your former employer, if you don't have any access to your account number. more
You had only option to approach your ex-employer and get your details. or else you have to go to EPF Office where your ex-employer is maintaining the PF and get your information more
If you have worked for 10 years, you must have got some yearly account statement from EPF, every year EPFO sends yearly statements of all employees to employer & employer further distributes to employees. If you don't have, contact the employer or his employee who has been handling EPF accounts who can give you your a/ct no. more
You can write to previous company to inform you about Pf account number. If they are not giving, approach your Pf office of that region and inform your employer company name and period deducted so that they can search details and give you. A personal visit would be hrlelpful rather than correspondence. more
you have to approach your local E.P.F Office with your employer details, then they will inform you your account details.

If your employer is not paying the PF deducted from your Salary, then you may complain to E.P.F authorities in writing there itself. more
