EPF Interest till March 2016

I downloaded my EPF passbook and I see that the interest till March 2016 is not debited in my account. Can somebody confirm if the interest is already given by EPFO or not for everybody? more

"Member passbook not available" is definitely creating panic. Atleast I have previous month passbook downloaded as a proof. The EPFO Team should understand the impact of inappropriate error messages in their website and act to rectify these kind of wrong error messages. Of course it is the inability of EPFO to generate the passbook for downloading. They could put some error messages like 'please try after sometime, server busy' and the like. If this option of downloading is jamming their server very much, then they could simply activate a link, so that automatically it could send to our email, which will definitely reduce server load and gives confidence to users that, as and when the server is fixed they will receive passbook by email.... more
Interest for March 2016 has not yet been credited. The quantum of interest rate decision went back and forth among Trustees, Labour ministry and Finance Ministry and they cleared the same and notification issued only in the last week of May. By this time, it should have been credited. However, not yet done. Mr. Dattatreya, are you listening? more
