epf office is deny pension who retires after 01.09.14
the epf office is denying pension for those who retires after 01.09.2014 and return their form on the plea that he had to submit option form in 2014 as did not submit thus not eligible for pension whereas fixed pension of those who retires before 01.9.2014 how possible one who retires before 2014 is getting more pension than who retires after 2014 contributing on Rs 15000 and deducting epf 12 % on full wages . is the plea of epf office is valid as per the supreme court order. My view is all retires before 2014 of after 2014 are eligible for pension. kindly give suggestion with logic. more
Dear Sir, I welcome your message and noted the contents. Please note that it is quite obvious that our hard earned money is going into the pockets of the corrupt politicians who have brought in many changes in the PF Act thereby putting lots of hardships to the savings and earnings of the common man. In this regards, I wish to share the personal experience of a boy aged around 20 years (contract labour) who has gone in to claim for refund of his PF amount deducted by his employer was made to toil hard by the Department giving various reasons, intentionally. However all the formalities have been completed in my presence as he was a layman and his file was sent for processing the payment. Subsequent day it seems he was again asked to provide a valid Aadhar Card with correct name etc., and the boy did not turn up to me nor with the department on this issue. This is the harassment and negligence played by the department personnel against people like you after 2014 dodging every claimants for various intentionally giving unwanted reasons thereby anticipating something in return (as a bribe) in order to clear their amounts settled. Whatever the digital media be that must have been implemented after 2014 with the Department, is purely an OPEN FRAUD being played by the Department personnel and if they are found guilty will have to face the legal consequences. So, please be aware of these fraudsters and before approaching a department personnel individually (they don't entertain) kindly try to accompany some more people who are facing the similar situations and then revolt to get back your claims fully, Please don't hesitate to do so in order get back your hard earned money or savings from the Department (take pictures and videos of those corrupt personnel and try to tarnish their image) to make everybody understand the typical problems faced by the common individual. You are very right, but the govt gave you an Achedin gift along with increasing minimum pension to Rs 1000. Though Gazzette of 22Aug 2014, increased the ceiling to 15000, it specified an option to to be exercised to opt for contributing above this ceiling within 6 months of 1st sep 2014. This was done very quietly & EPFO also did not publicise this. Because of this circular SC also restricted the applicability of it's order to people retired before 2014. Unfortunately I am not able to attach this Gazzette copy & Sc order, But I have done this on www.citehr.com , login & check my posts raghavant or google. Alternatively give me youe email ID where I can forward SC order & Gazzette copy more
Friends, I retired in 2017 April and receiving a lower pension that who retired in 2014. The rule should be common for all. Now what should we do to get higher pension ?? more
Unfortunately, I lost confidence in EPF department after losing my hard earned money in same manner as I do not have any expectations from Indian Railways now and most of the government organisations formed to extend services to the citizens directly. more
Sir, I have also retired on 15 May 2018. EPFO has denied the enhanced pension saying it is applicable only for those who retired before 1 Sep 2014. I joined EPFO on 22 Sept. 2997 and my contributions are up to date with out interruption till 15 May 2018 at 12% of actual Basic+DA. They had deducting only Rs. 541 till 1 Sep 2014 and there after Rs. 1250 Per month towards EPS. My entire amount is with EPFO in case of enhanced pension they do not have to recover anything from me but deduct the higher amount from my accumulations, which they don't agree. Not only that they are also not following the formula of Avarage Salary for last 60 Months presiding date of retirement. They are calculating in two parts total of 21+ years weightage i. 23 years toalt as follows:- 1. Average pensionable salary for 12 months presiding 1 Sept 2014 i.e. 6500/- and no. of years from 22 Sept. 1997 to 1 Sep 2014 i.e. 17 years. 6500*17/70 = 1578.5/- 2.Average pensionable salary 15000 for 45 months (from 1 Sep 2014 till 15 May 2018) and again 6500/- for 15 months presiding 1 Sep. 2014. Average comes out to be 12875/- so 12875*(4 years + 2 years weightage)/70 =1104/- Total pension they have calculated as 1578.5+1104 = Rs. 2682. Per month. I strongly feel it is wrong at least they should consider in part and average salary of last 60 months, But they are saying they have the software to calculate in two parts and can not do any thing. Now how to make these people understand? Kindly suggest ABDULRASHID SHAIKH EPFO MEMBER (GOA) UAN 100449590887 more
