EPFO Field Office Workings
Like the passport offices have improved their functioning, what is EPFOs plan to ensure the field/local offices are not harassing citizens. Also it should do whatever is required to eliminate that interface. Like to hear from other members and epfo itself. For what transactions is going in the office the only option? more

Apparently time schedule for EPFO to clear claims is 30 days - else grievance can be filed and there is an escalation mechanism. The public should join hands to contribute to improving the functioning of EPFO by suggesting to the labour ministry based on their negative experiences more

EPFO is in extremely bad shape. Reported corruption is at its peak. Industry is in hand and glove with the EPFO, not giving details or signing the documents that clear their contribution and release of the employee-employer funds. I wonder when the Trustees of EPFO would wake up to take effective steps. Passport Office could improve because of loud public clamouring and media reports, which is missing in the case of EPFO dealings. more

Time schedule should be there in the PF offices to settle the claims as in the case of banking transactions. Responsibility should be fixed to the concerned official by PF heads. more
