Employees over 58 years of age are not getting their refunds of the pension amount contributed by the employer - forms are returned with the with the remark not eligible. They should either get pension or refund of the amount?! If they are getting neither why is EPFO retaining the amount? As it is they have thousands of crores of poor labour's money with them. Even PM has mentioned this disastrous state in his speech the Parliament. UAN will take time to stabilise, till then either give pension or refund. more
The people I am talking about are with less than 1-3 years contribution. Most of the labourers and security guards fall into that category. If contribution has gone into their EPS and they fill Form 10 for withdrawal but are above 58 years of age, they are not getting refunds. Those below 58 years are getting except those with less than 6 months contribution. more
