EPFO screws citizens

While people are heartbroken over arrest of Rhea or angry with demolition of house of Kangana, EPFO lowered interest rate of 8.15% to subscribers for 2019-20 for now. Interest on your money.... So enjoy the tamasha at your "own expense". Literally more

This Govt will show carrots only before Election year, not before that. more
Interest rates are on a declining trend across all sectors. Be it savings / deposits / loans. We need loans at cheap rates and demand high rates for deposits. How is that even possible? No one raises hand when Car Loans / Home Loans / Consumer Durable loans / Personal Loans gets cheaper and easily accessible, by masses. But on deposits we want higher interests. So how do you think will the financial world survive? From where will the people working in these institutions get their salaries, run their families. Its shameful to see such questions being raised with out thinking about the people on the other side. more
Don't compare EPFO, a mandatory deposit scheme with voluntary schemes. Through MF/Shares people earned 15-20% then did you compare and ask EPFO to be 15%?
Crores of common salaried people will be effected incomparable with any other deposit interests.
Mr.Singh's post is quite justified. more
The governance of our country is in a shambles. The only remedy is to elect representatives who are honest, educated, and have high integrity. We ourselves are responsible for electing people with criminal records!!! more
EPFO is for Govt not employees more
Its not any reduction only 0.35% deferred for few months. Further at this point of time this rate is the highest for any Govt. Investment Scheme. Even Housing & Vehicle Loans from Banks are cheaper than this rate. more
