GOOD EVENING !!

नमस्कार!!!

मैं श्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी और हम सब के लिए कुछ सुझाव ले कर आया हूँ

FORMULA TO SOLVE EVEN AND ODD FORMULA IN DELHI AND ALSO FOR HOW TO REDUCE POLLUTION IN DELHI/NCR.

A. It seems that no one is thinking on the root cause, as to why the population is increasing day by day in Delhi/NCR, due to which requirement of vehicles are already there i.e. 2/3/4/6 wheeler, not only 4/6W but 2W are also equally responsible for pollution in Delhi/NCR.

B. In my opinion, we should identify the root cause and if we cannot kill the root cause, at least we can reduce it. There is a Proverb in Himachal, i.e. जुआ पीछे खिंद नी फुकनी.

C. The root cause of the same is unemployment in the country for which, many people are running towards Delhi /NCR for the employment. I know, we cannot stop anyone to come to Delhi, but by implementing the following systems, we will be able to reduce the pollution in Delhi. The main purpose to visit Delhi is to get the job in Govt./Pvt. Sector +business and settle in Delhi/NCR.

In my opinion, Govt. should take the u/m steps to reduce the entry of people in Delhi and also the pollution will be reduced automatically:

1. Let’s implement ODD and EVEN Formula in Delhi/NCR. But the fine should be Rs. 500/- and not 2000/-, because in emergency any person would like to use his car even/Odd car on even/odd dates.

2. 25% cars should be manufactured in the manufacturing plant of Maruti duly fitted with CNG. It will help customer to prefer and buy CNG fitted Car easily.

3. Make a report on the Offices, located in Delhi/NCR and find out is it really necessary to operate such office from Delhi only or it can be operated from the nearby places too i.e. Karnal/Sonepat / Agra/etc. wherever space/land is there to set-up big infrastructure. But such places should be connected with Delhi with 4Lane for an easy access and extra facilities should be given to the employees than they are having in Delhi/NCR currently. In my opinion, If 100 people are working in any office in Delhi, only 5 top level people are there who used to meet other people in Delhi/NCR on daily/weekly/monthly basis. Such meetings can be arranged through video conference facility too.

4. It has been observed, in many red lights, 8-10 traffic police are there to control the traffic but in some areas, there is no/less traffic people are there to control the traffic. In order to make the traffic more smooth, Name and Mobile No. of the Traffic People deputed to control the traffic on Red light /any area should be displayed at every Red Light and general public should be allowed to inform Incharge Traffic Police through Telephone/SMS/e-mail about the person, if he is not there on duty. As they duty of traffic people is also so hard, so their duty time should also be reduced to max. 8 hrs. from 12 hrs. A solid booth at a minimum height of 6-7 fit should be installed on Red-light with all facilities i.e. fan/cooler/AC and emergency light and Wi-Fi to control the traffic. Appreciation for the best arrangement towards movement of the traffic should be collected from the people, who cross such red-light almost of daily basis and awards for such Traffic Police People should be given, in presence of public. The traffic coming from the wrong side, approved legally, should be made aware to follow the traffic signal i.e. Arrow, printed on the Road.

5. Online booking for the buses should be made available on the Website of Delhi Transport Corporation. The printout of passengers, who booked the tickets only, should be displayed on the window by conductor, which will help other people, who has not booked the ticket online. But buses for such people, who cannot book ticket online, should also be arranged without fail. Govt. should collect data from the local ward members and buses should be arranged and ply accordingly.

6. Wherever it is possible, escalators should be laid on foot path too and should be operated with solar system, it may help people to avoid transportation and enjoy morning/evening walk as well and also enjoy sunlight in cold seasons during walk.

7. Instead of conveyance allowance give pick and drop facility to staff, working in Govt. /pvt. Sector, wherever it is possible.

8. Many people are coming to Gurgaon from NOIDA/GHAZIABAD/DELHI, just try to find out the reasons, as to why they are not staying in Gurgaon itself. They may tell you some reasons; try to solve them with local authorities.

9. Generate a Report from Hospitals, i.e. AIIMS etc. and find out from which state/District patients are coming to Delhi for treatment and build AIIMS at such places too with all facilities and doctors, available at AIIMS.

10. Please ask Central Govt. to focus on the Industry Development in all states also, which give employment to the people and a few people may not come to Delhi/NCR.

Dear All, Plz add your complete details, i.e. Name, Address, e-mail I'D, Suggestions and Mobile No. too. I shall compile a data on behalf of US and send to CM, DELHI. Thanks!! more
I am adding few more suggestions: 1) Delhi government should introdue more city buses and limit capacity of boarding to number of seats only. This will definitly reduce number of cars on roads 2) Introduce non stop bus services between Noida-Gurgaon, ghaziabad-Gurgaon, Faidabad-Gugaon etc sectors during peak hours but seating capacity limited to number of seats only. 3) Introduce Diret Metro trains between Noida-Gurgaon, Ghaziabad-gurgaon, Faridabad-Gurgaon etc sectors during peak hours. 4) As suggested by M Ramesh, If industrial infrastructure is improved and industies are establihed at other places people will not rush to places like delhi for employment. This is the root cause of population rise and pollution in metrpolitan cities. With regards, D.V.RAO more
@Ramesh: Great and good effort! Keep up the thought process and suggestions!! You are taking pains and investing your time! more
IT HAS BEEN FOUND OUT, ON THIS, BY THE GOVERNMENT ON THAT POLLUTION IS LARGELY BECAUSE OF INDUSTRIES IN AROUND DELHI AND ELECTRICITY GENERATING POWER STATIONS WHICH CONTRIBUTE LARGE PART OF IT. THE SAME STUDY TALKS ABOUT THE PETROL DRIVEN VEHICLES ARE THE LOWEST CONTRIBUTORS. THE POPULATION OF THE VEHICLES IS TO BE RESTRICTED BY THE FRESH ENTRY BASED ON SUBJECT TO INCOME TAX RETURN BASIS AND THE CONFIRMATION WITH THE PARKING SPACE. HITTING THE OLDER LARGE SENIORS WHO CAN NOT AFFORD TO CHANGE AND ON THE LAST LEG OF LIFE WHICH WILL OTHERWISE TAKE AWAY IN SHORT TIME OR WITH LEFT OVER THE LIVES FOR THEM. GOVERNMENT CAN AFFORD TO GIVE THEM MERCY PERMISSION OR SPECIAL AND FINAL RESPECT TO CONTINUE WITH THEIR OLD VEHICLES. more
