Every Ministry Follow Railways Example

It is heartening to see how Railways with its Make Railway Better circle has run a 2 way consultative process to make Railways more citizen focused. Why are other Ministries like Aviation, Health, Finance, Commerce, Telecom, Roads not engaging with us?

I suggest this circle or local circle please suggest it to them. Many of these ministries can follow a similar process, seek citizen inputs and then act on whats possible. In May it will be 2 year of this Govt. It is now or never. more

1.It is a very good suggestion.I suggest it will be better for you to prepare a petition and submit to P.M.O as it will save time. Moreover hon.Prime Minister is keen to improve functioning of ALL ministries.Ministries like Tel.Communication,Civil Aviation who deal with public will be able to improve if they directly hear from users. more
Taking inputs from citizens, and modernizing, updating the system will result in fool proof system. System depending on the bureaucracy & its recommendations will result in failure. The foreign countries always modernize the systems based on feedback. The marketing also depends on feedback of consumers in the internet. The V.V.I.P departments of the central govt., are not bothered on the subject. This clearly indicates the APATHY of the bureaucracy. The fact is the corrupt bureaucracy does not want to involve/ share with the public. That is how the corrupt bureaucracy wants to & help in the failure of the system. This strategy of bureaucratic RAJA'S always is, to continue their corrupt practices & mint money. more
Yes. Transport - road and water ways ministry is a case in point which can get benefited by such interaction with people. But improving transparency of the process, such as : ability to edit one's own posts, search comments by key words and/ or by dates and finally links to data on the no of comments supportive of a particular point listed as summary of the citizens' opinion is long overdue. more
