I always read, with pain, private hospitals are minting money. I do not like to go for the debate on the subject. I do have the feeling it is because of the absolute failure on part of the Government. Government hospitals are for General public - but they have to bribe every where to get the benefit. But we do have free treatment for VIP, that too out of turn, I am told some beds are kept vacant as to meet VIP emergency - which is also from the money exhorted by the Government for the poor people. Same logic goes to Government Schools, Colleges. Now lot of private Schools / colleges / hospitals have come of course - on Government land and public fund. BUT YOU AGREE OR NOT PEOPLE ON THE ROAD ARE READY TO PAY ANY MOUNT IF POSSIBLE FOR THESE ESTABLISHMENT. AGAINST THE LAW OR NOT - DOES NOT MATTER. Reference - people paid for fake EWS certificates. After all it is about education / health of their children. If you go by the logic - private hospitals / schools are on the public money and from the public fund. Ok fine. But what about - parliament, VIPS accommodations and perks etc. Can any body explain the fruit full purpose of these very places. They just go there, waste the time, break some furniture, enjoy free lunch / snacks at the expanse of poor people. Are people on the road feel chances of the repeat of Nirbhay, corruption, security will not be repeated, as enough safe guards have teen taken. Self advertisements are of no use - just wastage of tax pays money - even it is a fraction of budget. The results will speaks. If rich are able to look after their children from ill gotten money as you may feel, no problem - at least they are better placed. SO REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO WORK HARD, VERY VERY HARD, ESPECIALLY THE POOR, EWS ETC TO USE THOSE VERY ESTABLISHMENTS NOW FOR THE RICH ONLY. YOU CAN NOT USE THEM BECAUSE GOVERNMENT HAS NOT CHECKED THEM -- BUT YOU ARE NOT CAPABLE TO EARN THAT AMOUNT. more

Some places are already functioning at charitable rates for decades and they do not have to gloat about it.Do more work, attend 50 patients@100/-=5000/- per day vs. 5 patients@1000/-per patient=5000/-.mental & professional satisfaction is not same.1st category doctor is happy, there is no threat looming over his/her head of professional misconduct or rich but illiterate people taking him/her for granted! more
