Excessive OPD Fees by Doctors in Private and Trust Hospitals

There are many doctors in Delhi charging consultation fees of INR 2000 which is crazy. This is happening in private hospitals as well as trust based hospitals. Loot of common people and we have Aam Aadmi Govt. Can't they cap OPD fees to 1000 rupees though even that is high. 500 should be the standard according to me. more

Dear Madam, I fully agree with comments of Mr Ritesh. It is the quality which matters why do you use a perfume which cost Rs.7000 or for that matter a lipstick costing Rs.1000 or a telecom costing Rs. 500. Kharya Eath (mitti) will do the same job because when fine ground it looks as well feels like talcum. A doctor with knowledge of Rs 500 can do only that much.I am talking from personal experience.A good doctor can save your life and a doctor with Rs.500 knowledge can tale to the door of Death therefore Madam Shivani first think and weigh the question then shoot.Don't be Kejriwal Regards Jitendra Nath more
National Medical Commission must intervene. Rs. 500 is the right amount under given economic dispensation. more
Can people name 10 GPs in Delhi who charge reasonable rates and are good? more
Why not give a minimum support price also say 400 for every doctor. No doctor should charge below this. Second why do you go that doctor who charges 2000 or to the doctor who doesn't pay attention or give you time. Did anyone force you to go to escorts or fortis etc. more
Whhy not go to government dispensaries and hospitals? They are absolutely free! more
