Exchange with Delhi Chief Minister
Dear AAP Delhi/NCR circle members:
After seeing the collaborative work in this circle on improving Governance of Delhi, the LocalCircles Senior Management has shared the subject with the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister has responded back almost immediately showing his interest to engage. This is a great sign and could eventually lead to collaborative Citizen-Government workings in the future in Delhi.
LocalCircles agrees with the recommendation in the circle on putting together a white paper for the Chief Minister which is easier to understand, proposes key actions and also has a list of experts, ready to volunteer for the Government.
LocalCircles also wants to propose to the Chief Minister that the elected representatives of the Government from different constituencies and the Civic Bodies there also become part of the respective colony or neighborhood circles they are responsible to serve. This will lead to true participative governance and accountability for the Government and its leaders. It will lead to faster escalation and resolution of community problems.
Organization (AAP) related recommendations or initiatives must directly be worked through the Circle Founder Mr. Jain and other volunteers as LocalCircles will only be engaging in Government-Citizen collaboration.

We have only heard of Mohalla committees but AAP should take the initiative to organise the same.To start with each RWA can be taken as mohalla committee.This will not only allow Govt and its rep understand the problem of various areas but also help in governance and decision making.Govt should make a start before it is too late and people get disillusioned which has already started. more

I have heard a lot about the mohalla committees and instead of just falling into the trap of media which is doing all that in the interest of their own business. It will be great for AAP to start the innovative mechanisms to engage with the Aam Aadmi. This will then eliminate the need for the leaders to do things which are prone to mistakes and for which they will always be provoked for. more

Oh yes... Training will do wonders ... AK has a great smile ... He & all the minsters / spokesperson should continue smiling on all the questions / allegations rather than responding with kneejerk reaction. more
