Execution
The points covered in the proposed suggestions/recommendations are very good. But the main issue its execution and continuous monitoring. It should not be cosmetic and one time but executed and followed up with. I am very clear that even in the most advanced countries, STICK policy is continuously used to force people to obey the rules. We have depended too much and too long on educating the users. There is a limit to this approach.
Hence suggest that while implementing these suggestions errant passengers should be suitably made to pay for not observing the rules.

Sir no one is bothered about stickers. So many helpful numbers and other materials are written in compartment no one cares. Very few people use them and save or note it down. It is the duty of the passengers to note. What is the use of Time Table and importance and very few of them make use of it. Mainly people use for train timings only rest they simply leave it which is the important portion. more

Should give as much attention to the monitoring as its execution and make sure it should continue for ever .There should be a team for execution and there should be another team to monitoring and maintenance what is already executed .Where as we see lot of new things are executed but never monitored whether it is continue to work. That is the biggest failure . more

In order to decongest NDLS and DLI stations incoming and outgoing trains should stop for one minute on any station on the way in Delhi city. This can additionally reroute a lot of vehicular traffic and reduce pollution also more
